The Chicken Fricassee with Cream Recipe


Tastes really good, similar to hollandaise sauce. It tasted even better with the mashed potatoes and other healthy meals. I think next time I will put some veggies in it and try it with noodles or rice. One of the delightful healthy recipes of all time!


Ingredients:
1 chicken, about 4.4 lbs.
0.44 lbs. butter
1.1 lbs. double cream (40-45% fat)
12 baby onions
3 garlic cloves
Mushrooms
1.27 cups white wine
Thyme, 1 laurel leaf
Pepper, salt

Directions:
1. Cut and prepare the chicken and put it in a saucepan with butter, onions (cut into 4-5 pieces each), garlic, mushrooms, laurel leaf and thyme.

2. Let the chicken slices caramelize.Add white wine and cream.Cover the saucepan and let the whole cook for 40 minutes.

3. After the cooking, withdraw the chicken pieces and strain the sauce, which will be poured over the chicken just before serving.
