How to Make Garlic Bread with Cheese

Garlicky and with plenty of cheese, this is one of the popular healthy recipes that its accompaniment is a real crowd-pleaser.




This can be paired with your other favorite healthy meals.

Ingredients:
1 baguette

1/4 cup (60 mL) butter, softened
2 minced cloves of garlic
2 tbsp (30 mL) chopped fresh parsley
1 cup (250 mL) shredded Asiago cheese or fontina cheese

Directions:
1. Cut baguette in half crosswise; cut each in half horizontally.
2. In small bowl, stir together butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley and pinch each salt and pepper; spread over cut sides of baguette.
3. Place baguette on rimmed baking sheet; sprinkle with cheese. Bake in 425 degree F (220 degree C) oven until cheese is bubbly and bread is golden, about 12 minutes.
