How to Make Trout Lake With Bananas And Vinegar Baked

Lake trout is a freshwater fish caught mostly in the lakes of the northern part of North America. It is also known by various names such as lake char, mackinaw, togue, touladi, siscowet, namaycush, humper, gray trout, landlocked salmon, or paperbelly. Low in calories and fats but rich in magnesium, selenium, omega 3 fatty oils, vitamin D and protein, trout is a healthy choice and a highly valued food fish.

In this healthy food recipe, the light flavor of trout is complemented by the delicately sweet flavor of bananas, while vinegar gives the dish a bright and tangy touch served with other healthy meals.

Ingredients:
12 to 13 oz. lake trout, cut in 4 pieces
4 bananas, peeled, sliced thick
3 tablespoon cup vinegar
4 tablespoons butter
Seasonings to taste

Directions:
1. Place the trout in a large bowl. Add bananas, vinegar, and butter and season with salt and pepper.

2. Transfer to a greased baking tray and bake the fish in a 350 degree F. preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

3. Serve hot with cooked rice.
